A note from Guy…
The last few months have been a roller coaster for Abiah. There has been so much transition We are expanding from mainly a regional to a national market not to mention opening up our ministry division.
During this time there has been mountaintop and valley experiences.
We were hanging out in his painting studio before dinner playing pool when I noticed one of his paintings on a journal. I asked Phil how he published his painting on the journal. He explained then gave it to me. I didn’t know how to accept it at first because of the huge value his work has on me. But I did and Phil placed it on my daughters bag by the door so I wouldn’t forget it.
Yesterday I was getting in my car on my way to work when I looked in the back seat and noticed the painting on the journal. This time I didn’t just look at it as a beautiful painting but as a story.
I saw the hills gradually got bigger towards the cross and noticed the unseen valleys in between. It reminded me how my focus as a follower of Christ should always be on the cross. As I follow their will be ups and downs but the grand prize is eternity through the sacrifice made on the cross.
Thanks for being a part of my life.
