Deep down I believe that there are businesses that have it easy. They have people knocking down their door, cash flow out the wazoo and only require a few hours of top-level maintenance.
I consult with brands on a weekly basis and the more I work with, the more I see that no matter how good a brand looks from the outside they all require hard work on the inside and have their own struggles.
A few years back an older man who runs a large company told me that I should figure out my numbers so I could see where I would be the most profitable. He was saying that bigger isn’t always better. Smaller, less stress and profitable was better.
I didn’t pay much attention at the time. But now as my time becomes more and more valuable I realize how right he is.
