These messages are falling short these days. It’s because people understand that lasting satisfaction does not come from indulging.
Anything but focusing on ourselves does go against the fabric of our nature. But when the feelings of dissatisfaction from indulgence surface, people want to try the opposite side of the spectrum. Which is giving.
And as those who give know, there is no better feeling of purpose.
That is why I believe the business world is changing the marketing conversation to, making a positive life difference for others.
