Precious seeds?

The last few days I have been meditating about seeds. HAHA, sounds funny huh? But we all have them, some big, some small, a lot and a few. It really doesn’t matter how many seeds we have as It does with what we do with those seeds.

One day I was sitting outside Abiah at a picnic table about to eat a turkey sandwich and God told me not to eat it, He told me to fast for my little sister. (Just a side bar, I didn’t come to the Lord until I was 22. Before then I lived a destructive lifestyle. I actually accepted Jesus as a result of my brother getting locked up for selling weed to an undercover cop, my mom was such a wreck she asked my to go to church with her and I asked Jesus to take my life. That brother now walks with the Lord. But, my sister and little brother hasn’t come yet. My hearts desire is to see her and him surrender their life to the Lord.)

So anyway, I threw my turkey sandwich in the woods and started reading my Bible. I also had a bag of nuts. Then God told me to use my nuts to feed his sheep. I knew exactly what He meant. Because He told me this same thing when Abiah first started. I was walking outside our condo and He stopped me and told me. “use you seeds to feed my sheep” then showed me a shooting star. The funny thing I just found the paper I wrote this on yesterday.

All of us have seeds. The question is, is what we do with them.
Remember the parable Jesus told about the talents.

Matthew 25:29 (NLT)
29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.

In earthly terms I’m a owner of a company but in God’s eyes I’m just an employee that has to manage what He gives me. Let us as business owners, ministry leaders and employees use our seeds to encourage our brothers and show people God loves them.
